I have recently had lots of requests from people asking about what sex positions will increase the chances of getting pregnant. So here we are, I hope you have lots of fun working this out.
There are lots of factors that you need to be aware of when you are trying to get pregnant, it is not just about what position you have sex, but many other factors too.
For a start you both need to find a comfortable position, we do not want the baby making to become a chore, we want to keep it fresh and fun. Remember if you are feeling under an enormous amount of stress then the hormones that we give off when we get stressed could actually affect your chances of getting pregnant so it is important to keep this part fun and interesting.
Don't pick a position where you will need to use lubricants this will actually harm the sperm preventing them from being able to swim properly.
Try to avoid positions where semen could drip out after having sex, for example 'woman on top'. The more sperm that stay inside after sex the more chance the sperm have of reaching your valuable egg and getting you pregnant.
When you are deciding on the best position for sex, think of positions which have deep penetration, the closer they are to your cervix to start with the better as they won't have as far to swim.
It has also been reported that if you raise your hips very slightly, for example with a pillow this will help the sperm swim to your cervix using gravity. Be careful not to tilt your hips too much as the sperm will just pool behind your cervix.

Some examples of positions to try:
Missionary Style - the woman lies on her back, with her legs either spread flat, drawn up toward the chest, or wrapped around the penetrating partner. The woman can wrap one or both of her legs around the man at various heights: at the back of his legs, at the buttocks or back, or over his shoulders. Generally, the higher the woman lifts her legs, the deeper the penetration. A pillow is often used under the woman;s pelvis to aid deeper penetration. This is probably the most common sex position for baby making.
Spooning - this is when you are both lying on your side facing the same way and he enters you from behind, great for cuddling too. This position is also often used in the last trimester of pregnancy as it does not put any pressure on your abdomen.
Doggy Style - The receiving partner is on all fours with their torso horizontal, while the active partner is either standing or on their knees and holds the receiving partner's backside firmly by the waist or buttocks while penetrating from behind.
