In the United States alone, about ten percent of couples are having trouble conceiving. For some couples getting pregnant is one the things that we have trouble with. In some cases the factor of people not knowing how to track their ovulation cycles. The fertile time of a woman's cycle is usually between day 11 - 21 from her first day of her last menstrual cycle. By monitoring the cervical mucus you can also track when you are the most fertile. The more abundant and clearer the cervical mucus is the closer you are to ovulating. Although it is only a matter of a few days it can be tracked but monitoring your body temperature to see if you are ovulating. When this happens, the woman's body is about to release and egg and that is the best time to have to try to conceive a baby.
Certain positions are favored for conception. The missionary position is always a good position because it will let the sperm flow smoothly to the cervix. Keeping your hips raised slightly will always help the sperm work it way down. Having intercourse at least three times a week will increase your chances of conception as you will always get at least a day or two of your ovulation cycle each month.
Vitamin D, Calcium and Zinc are a good place to start for raising fertility in the male, where as antioxidants and Vitamin C are needed to help the female reproductive system and play a part in preventing sperm defects, recommended dosage of Vitamin C would be 500mg a day, too much can actually work against you and dry up your cervical fluid causing the sperm to not be able to make it to the uterus. As most know, cutting out such things like caffeine and alcohol can play an important role in conception as well as making sure you are on a healthy diet and exercise regularly.
Medications and other things such as birth control pills that were taken in the past can also be working against you. I would recommend doing full body cleanse to help rid your body of any lingering toxins of any kind. This can be done over a period of a month and will increase your chances of getting pregnant. If either partners are on any medication, as always check with your doctor before getting off of them. Ask your physician if there would be a safe, natural alternative to what you are taking now.
